Rec. 7.45 pm. Melbourne, Jan. 31. The Australian tennis championship finals resulted:— Men’s Doubles: Vines and Gledhill (U.S.A.) defeated Crawford and Moon 6—4, 10—8, 6—2. Ladies’ singles: Miss Hartigan defeated Mrs. Buttsworth 6 —4, 6—3. Ladies’ doubles: Mesdames Westacott and Molesworth defeated Mrs. Van Ryn (U.S.A.) and Miss Hartigan 6—3, 6—2. Combined doubles: Crawford and Mrs. Crawford defeated Vines- and Mrs. Van Ryn (U.S.A.) 3-G, 7—5, 13-11.
