PUKEARUHE NOTES
GENERAL AND PERSONAL ITEMS. Messrs. Cox and N. D. and J. Duggan, South Taranaki, are camping at Pukearuhe. Mr. R. Dowding, Waitara, has returned home after spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. V. Wills. Miss Mavis Wheeler has returned to New Plymouth after spending a few days in the district. Mrs. Gibson, New Plymouth, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. H. Wells. Miss Chard and Mrs. Ivan Penwarden returned home after spending a few days at Pukearuhe. Mr. ■ Coppiestone, Eltham, and party are camping at White Cliffs. • A number of people visited Urenui on Saturday evening to hear the first talkie machine installed in Urenui. Mr. and Mrs. Price, Dunedin, made a visit to the Whiteley memorial during a tour through Taranaki. The Pukearuhe cricket team played a return match at Waitoitoi during the week-end and won by 52 runs. The White Cliffs dairy factory paid out 7jd for the month of December.
