The Commissioner of Taxes , draws attention to the notification appearing in issue that the due date o! payment of Income-tax is on Wednesday, February 8, 1933. Additional tax will accrue if the tax is not paid on or before March 1, 1933.. For failing to stop his motor-cycle when accosted by a traffic inspector A. Stewart was yesterday fined £1 with 10s costs by Mr. R. W. Tate, S.M., in the Waitara Court. On a charge of failing to hold a driver’s license, Stewart was convicted and ordered to pay 10s costa.
