Decreases of about a shilling for butter and cheese are revealed in the cabled reports on the London dairy market. The butter market is slow to quiet- and the cheese market is as- steady as last week. The following messages, with last week’s prices in parentheses, were received yesterday (Press Association, London, January 19): Butter is slow. Quotations: Danish, 106 s; New Zealand, choicest salted, 81s to 82s; unsalted, 84s to 86s; Australian, choicest salted, 80s; unsalted, 82s to 84s; New Zealand, 84s to 86s; Australian, 82s ’to 84s. Cheese dull. Quotations: New Zealand, white 46s to 475, coloured 56s to 575; Australian 45s to 525.
