OVERSTAYED TIME LIMIT
LONE VOYAGER IN THE STATES. LONG CRUISE ACROSS PACIFIC. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 7.15 p.m. San Pedro, Jan. 18. Fred Rebell, who' arrived here two weeks ago after sailing the 18-foot sloop Elaine across the Pacific from Australia alone, was detained to-day by immigration officials on a charge of having overstayed the time limit of 60 days provided in his seaman’s passport issued at Honolulu on November 4.
