FAIR, CLOUDY WEATHER
THUNDER POSSIBLE IN PLACES..
By Telegraph.—Pr««» Anoeiatioa.
Wellington, Last Night.
Mainly fair to cloudy weather with some scattered rains and possibly thunder in places is expected. Light to moderate and variable winds, with northerlies ruling at first are probable. Seas in New Zealand waters will be rather rough about Cook Strait, but elsewhere smooth to moderate. In the eastern Tasman Sea light to moderate west to south winds and moderate seas are expected. A shallow depression is crossing the Dominion but no decided pressure change is indicated, the anti-cyclone over the western Tasman Sea having decreased in extent and intensity. A tropical cyclone appears to be developing in the vicinity of the Fiji Islands.
