COMMITTEE REPORTS NEXT YEAR.
By Telegraph.—Press Association.
Wellington, January 18. The University Senate to-day decided to refer to the executive committee a motion for the revision of degree examination fees, the committee to report to the meeting of the senate next year. Mr. H. F. von Haast’s motion that the senate was of opinion that the old system of four district courts of convocation, each electing one member of the senate, was preferable to the present system of one general court of convocation electing five members, was by leave withdrawn after discussion.
