FOOT DEEP ON YORKSHIRE WOLDS.
SNOWPLOUGHS HAVE TO BE USED.
(British Official Wireless) Rec. 5.5 p.m., Rugby, Jan. 17, The heaviest snowfall this winter occurred in Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Wales. Snow was a foot deep on the high Yorkshire wolds. Snow ploughs are being used.
