WOMEN’S DIVISION.
BRIXTON BRANCH MEETINQ. The monthly: meeting of the Brixton branch of: the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union was held oh Thursday afternoon; Mrs. McCaul presiding over an attendance of 22 members. It was decided to donate £2 10s, to the Community Chest funds. An interesting competition in charge of Mips Muir was won by Mrs..Langman. A vote of sympathy was passed to Mr. Lash in his illness, and wishes for a speedy recovery expressed. Hostesses' for the" afternoon were Mrs. Langman, Mrs. Limmer, Miss Lash and Miss Limmer.
