FRESH FIRES IN TIMBER LANDS.

The damage resulting from bush fires between Wyong and Newcastle is estimated at £lOO,OOO. A rough survey showed large areas devastated.
There were several fresh outbreaks yesterday. A blaze on a 20-mile’ front caused heavy damage in the Gosford district, wiping out timber country and orchards.
