YACHTING AND DUCKING.
HIGH JINKS IN CANTERBURY.
In Lyttelton-Harbour, down Canterbury way, they’re keen on yachting. But the winds round those parts are lazy winds l —instead of going round the sails they endeavour to go straight through them. After three or four outings in a yacht a fellow has ' learned to swim in his clothes quite well. But do these hardy Southerners mind? Not on your life, sir. Their boat’s equipment ' includes a family size bottle of Honey Acid, the great double strength cough mixture. The Honey Acid is rationed out like the rum of old. A yachtsman who takes Honey Acid never catches cold. Honey Acid is obtainable at 2/and 3/6 from Smith’s Store, Okato; J. Fox, Okato, J. Hannah, Puniho; Cyril Moss, Warea; Cape Egmont Co-op. Store; Mantey’s Magnet Store, Opimake; Wai Yep, Grocer, Opunake; L. A. Bosworth, Oaonui.
