The Mahurangi is to load at Wellington on Monday for New Plymouth, Waitara and Mokau. She is due at New Plymouth on Tuesday evening. The Mahurangi arrived at New Plymouth yesterday on her way south and will leave to-night with a cargo of wool. (Mokau Collieries, Ltd.) OVERSEAS SHIPS’ MOVEMENTS. TARANAKI LEAVES PORT. The Taranaki, which arrived in New Plymouth from Bluff on Monday, completed loading 21,000 freight’carcases of meat, 10,000 boxes of butter and 14,000 crates of cheese on Thursday night and sailed for Auckland. She will complete at Auckland, Gisborne and Wellington, and will clear the last-named port on January 24 for London, via Cape Hom and Las Palmas. PAKEHA’S MOVEMENTS. The Shaw, Savill steamer Pakeha is due at-New Plymouth to complete discharge of her London cargo and to continue loading, being due to-morrow. She will later load at Gisborne, Wellington and. Wanganui. The-Pakeha is due at Wellington on January 22, and is to clear Wanganui on January 30 for London, via the Panama Canal and Kingston. NORTHUMBERLAND AT AUCKLAND. The Federal Line steamer Northumberland arrived at Auckland from New Plymouth on Thursday afternoon and continued loading for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool ’ and Glasgow to the agency of the New. Zealand Shipping Company. She will sail on Monday afternoon for Gisborne, Wellington and Napier, clearing for London, via Montevideo and Dakar, on January 26. THE LURLINE’S MAIDEN TRIP. The Oceanic Company’s new liner Lurline, a 20,000-ton steamer completed recently, was scheduled to commence the maiden voyage from New York to-day. The Lurline’s maiden trip is a cruise of the South Pacific and the Orient, and the vessel is due at San Francisco on January 25, leaving that port for Los Angeles two days later. After clearing Los Angeles on January 28, the vessel will proceed to Auckland, where she is due On February 14. She will sail for. Sydney two days later, and will return to San Francisco via the Orient. DELAYS AT DUNEDIN. Heavy fog at the heads at Dunedin on Thursday resulted in three vessels being delayed. The Tairoa, which arrived from London, was unable to enter the port, while the Surrey, which was to leave for Bluff, and the Port Whangarei, which was scheduled to sail for northern ports, were also delayed.
