BORROWED FOR 23 YEARS
BOOK RETURNED TO LIBRARYA book which has been absent from the shelves of the Hoskins Memorial Institute Library at Lithgow, New South Wales, for 23 years has been returned. The volume, one of Emerson’s works, was borrowed by Mr. Robert Burn, a member of the then Lithgow School of Arts, who left the town shortly afterwards. When going through some of his effects recently, Mr. Burn discovered the book and forwarded it to the institution. At a meeting of the committee it was decided not to impose the usual fine.
