STATUE OF PRINCE
NOSE FOUND BATTERED.
ROYAL CULPRIT CONFESSES.
London, Dec. 21.
A stir was caused in the Royal Palace at Bucharest, Rumania, says the correspondent of the Daily Mail, when it was found that a new bust of 11-year-old Prince Michael had the nose battered.
Detectives investigating the incident suspected that it was an anarchist’s gesture against the Royal Family. ’ • Subsequently, however, King Carol solved the mystery. He induced Prince Michael to confess that he himself had hammered off the nose because he did not like the shape of it.
