PLANE CRASHES ON HOUSE
VIOLENT EXPLOSION FOLLOWS. TWO DEAD; NINETEEN INJURED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.— Copyright. Rec. 10 p.m. Paris, Dec. 20. A military aeroplane crashed on the roof of a house in a Parisian suburb today. The pilot was killed instantly. The inhabitants rushed into the street. Policemen and volunteers, using ladders, attempted to reach the wreckage, whilst a septuagenarian woman resident returned to secure her savings when a violent explosion occurred owing to the petrol reaching the stove through the chimney. The explosion killed the woman and injured nineteen, persons.
