ALSATIAN DOG RESCUES GIRL
SYDNEY BEACH INCIDENT. ANIMAL BEATS OWNER INTO SEA. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Sydney, Dec. 21. Dozens of people witnessed the rescue of a little girl, Malsa Callow, from drowning at Rushcutters Bay by a champion Alsatian dog. The owner of the dog was about to dive in when it leaped over his head, swam to the struggling girl, grasped the clothing at the back of her neck and brought her ashore, holding the girl s head out of the water.
