BRITISH FOREIGN FACTORIES
NEARLY TEN THOUSAND WORKERS. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. London, Dec. 19. In the House of Commons Dr. E. L. Burgin, Parliamentary Under-Secretary to the Board of Trade, informed a questioner that 218 foreign-controlled factories were operating in Britain employing 9261, which figure was estimated to rise to 14,000 when the factories were fully occupied.
