FINE FOR THEFT OF WATCH. f s t r By Telegraph.—Press Association. | Wellington, Dec. 20. , t The long arm of the law encompassed James Anthony Coulthard, aged 32, a watersider, when he was arrested last week on a charge of stealing a gold wateh, it being found that he had been wanted since 1921 on a charge of failing to account for £2O 13s to the secretary of the Millerton Miners’ Union. All trace of him was lost when he left the district shortly after the offence was committed. The police said he had told the secretary that the money had been stolen j from him.
