PROSPECTS OF WHEAT TRADE
REVIVAL IF WAR DEBTS SOLVED. BRITISH REQUIREMENTS INCREASE. By Telegraph—Press Assn. -Copyright. Rec. 11.30 p.m. London, Dec. 20 Those in closest touch with the wheat trade see no prospect of a material rise in prices for some time, says a special correspondent of the Daily Telegraph, but if war debts are liquidated there will be a revival, exchange restrictions will be modified and one of the greatest obstacles will disappear. Whereas France, Germany and Italy imported 28,000,000 quarters ia 1025 they will import only 7,000,000 m 1933. Britain’s overseas requirements, however, tave increased from 27,000,000 to 32,000,000 since. 1925.
