KOHURATAHI HERD-TESTING
TAHORA HERD TOPS AVERAGE. The figures issued by the Taranaki Cooperative Herd-Testing Association giving results for the Kohuratahi area for November show that Mr. E. Mantle, Tahora, secured the highest average for testing under the group system, his 19 cows averaging 47.71 b of butter-fat for tire 30-day period. The best individual performance was put up by “Lankie,” a 7-year-old Jersey from Mr. J. A. Nairn’s herd, with 911 b of butter-fat for the period.
