DISCOVERY OF COMET
OBSERVATION AT ADELAIDE.
IN CONSTELLATION PISCIS.
By Telegraph—Press .Assn.— Copyright. Adelaide, Dec. 19.
What is believed to be a new comet was observed on Friday evening. Invisible to the naked eye, it is of the ninth magnitude. Its right ascension is 22 hours 59 minutes 13 seconds and its right declination 29 degrees 20 minutes. The comet is in the constellation Piscis and it is suggested that it is Temple’s comet which has not been seen since its discovery in 1866 though observers have been watching for it.
