.'CONCERT AND PRIZE-GIVING. The annual concert and prize-giving took place at the Waitara Army Hall on Monday night. There was a good attendance and the items were well appreciated. The Sunday school anniversary was held, on Sunday. The programme opened with the song “Happy Children,” followed by another song “God’s Love,” all the children taking part. The next item, “God’s Garden,” was delightfully sung by three little girls, followed by a recitation by Olive Andrews. Norma Tanner’s solo was followed by a humorous dialogue, “Six Little Mothers,” the six little girls acting pleasingly. A violin solo, “Salut d'Amour,” by Lieut. .Ramsey, was appreciated, as was the action song, “Bells of Heaven.” Allan McEwan was heard to advantage in his recitation, and the “Sewing Society,” a humorous dialogue, was also well worth repeating. . .
