CURRENCY BASED ON GOLD
WORLD BANK POSTPONES PLAN. (British Official Wireless.) Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, Dec. 12. The - council of the Bank of International Settlements has decided to abandon its intention to establish a new monetary system based on gold until the debts question has been settled between the Governments interested.
