PRAISE BY SIR MICHAEL MYERS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, Dec. 13. Warm praise for the progress Napier is making towards complete recovery from the earthquake disaster was expressed; by the Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers) in opening the Hawke’s Bay Adjustment Court at Napier this morning. Voicing the pleasure felt by himself and his associates, Messrs. L. O. H. Tripp andi .H. J. von Haast, at the change which had taken place since their last visit, his Honour said: “It is four months since Mr. von Haast and I were in Napier and six months since Mr. Tripp was here, and we are all delighted as well as astonished at the progress which has been wade in the restoration; and not in the restoration only, but also in the beautifying of this fine little town of yours. The' improvements which have been made on the waterfront are attractive and delightful and the buildings which are being erected would be a credit to any town in New Zealand.”
