The Opihi, from southern ports, arrived at New Plymouth yesterday and sailed in the afternoon for Westport, Lyttelton, Timaru'mid Dunedin, where she is due to load about December 19 for New Plymouth. (U.S.S. Co.) The Hauturu is due at New Plymouth from Onehunga to-morrow and will proceed later to Wanganui. From Wanganui the Hauturu will return to Onehunga. (Northern Co.) The Kartigi is loading 580 tons of coal at Westport for. New Plymouth, where she is due to-morrow. The Kartigi will proceed to Auckland. (U.S.S. Co.) MOVEMENTS OF OVERSEAS’ SHIPS. OTAIO TO LEAVE TO-MORROW. The Otaio, which has been in port at New Plymouth since Friday discharging English cargo and loading dairy produce and meat, will be dispatched for Wellington to-morrow in continuation of her loading programme..

PORT HUNTER DUE THIS MORNING.

The Port Hunter, with a cargo of Texas sulphur is due at New Plymouth at daybreak to-day, having sailed from Wellington at 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon. Following discharge the vessel will load 3800 boxes of butter and 5700 crates of cheese at New Plymouth, completing at Wanganui, Napier, Auckland, Gisborne and Wellington, sailing finally from Wellington on January 14. RUAHINE TO ARRIVE MONDAY.

The Ruahine, which is to load dairy produce and. meat at New Plymouth, left Wellington for. Nelson and is due at New Plymouth on Monday. THE KIWITEA AT AUCKLAND. The Kiwitea arrived from Adelaide, Edithburg and Melbourne, via New Plymouth, on Monday night. From Auckland she will proceed to Napier and Wellington to complete discharge. THE TARANAKI FROM LIVERPOOL. The Shaw, Savill and Albion motorship Taranaki arrived at Auckland from Liverpool, via Capetown on Monday. The vessel load 9500 tons of general merchandise at Glasgow and Liverpool and sailed from Liverpool on November 2. She called at Capetown on November 19, and after loading 180 tons of South African produce the voyage was resumed next day. Foggy weather was experienced during the first four days after leaving Capetown and boisterous westerly weather and rough following seas prevailed almost continuously during the remainder of the voyage. The average speed from Liverpool to Auckland was 14.2 knots. The, Taranaki is due at New Plymouth on January 7 in the course of loading for England. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
