Cup winner, Sasanof, while his. dam, Rose Red, was an own sister to the dual Auckland Cup winner, All Red. Raceful is a handsome bay horse-stand-ing over 16 hands. Sound and even tempered, he proved a high-class racehorse, beating Humbug as a two-year-old and winning in all nine races and stakes to the value of almost £4OOO. Very few of his progeny have raced, but Tradesman, Fraser and Woodful have been successful, and some of his rising stock are very promising.
