Ltd.: The butter market is firm; finest, 91s; first, 90s. The cheese market is steady; white, 645; coloured, 60s. WAIKATO STOCK SALES. PRICES AT FRANKTON. IMPROVEMENT FOR SHEEP. Hamilton, Nov. 30. Quotations remained unchanged for a heavier yarding of ox beef at the weekly Frankton stock sale to-day. Cow and heifer beef was also yarded; in larger numbers, prices easing slightly. Values for store cattle showed no alteration. There was only a small offering of fat sheep, the quotations for both ewes and wethers showing an improving tendency. A medium yarding of lambs sold at last week’s rates. Fat pigs, of which there was a full- entry, remained firm at last week’s values» while the prices

for stores and weaners improved slightly.
