NEW WATER SUPPLY PIPES. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The laying down of the new threeinch piping for the Ohura water supply has given temporary work to many of Ohura’s unemployed. This piping is to take the place of the one and a-half inch piping temporarily laid down several years ago. Tangarakau cricket and tennis players visited Ohura during the week-end, the Tangarakau cricketers winning on the first innings. . Mr. Harold Ross sustained injuries to the hands and knee when his motorcycle skidded in the loose metal on the side of the main street and threw him several yards.
