WILL IN OLD SKIRT
£4OOO FOR MR. DE VALERA. London, Nov. 16. In a will discovered in an old skirt left under her bed, Miss Mary Fitzpatrick, an Irishwoman, aged 72, left Mr.de Valera property worth £4OOO. It was disclosed at the inquest into her death at Brighton that her brother, her sole surviving relative, is contesting the will and that an action is pending between him and Mr. de Valera. Miss Fitzpatrick led the life of a recluse and was found dead in bed. Lashed to the bed was a strongbox containing valuable jewellery. The Irish Press states that Mr. de Valera regards as a gift to the State the bequest of £4OOO left him in the will of Miss Fitzpatrick,
