GIRL GUIDE RALLY
NORTH TARANAKI SPORTS. CURTAILMENT AT STRATFORD. A rally of North Taranaki Girl Guides was held at Stratford on Saturday. Owing to the weather only half of the sports programme was held in the park, part of the remaining events being decided in the football gymnasium. The other events were cancelled, and the cup was given on those completed. Kaponga won, with Stratford second, Tuakera (New Plymouth) third, Wananui (New Plymouth) fourth, Toko fifth, Temoru (New Plymouth) sixth and New Plymouth High School seventh. At the end of the day the cup was presented by Mrs. A. Moon, Stratford president.
