DEATH OF NOTABLE SOLDIER
MAJOB-GBNBRAL CATOR. British Official Wireless. Rec, 5.5 p.m. Rugby, Nov. 18. Major-General Cator, general officer commanding the London District, died in the hunting field in Wiltshire. He had a heart attack while galloping across a field and fell dead from his horse. Major-General Cator served throughout the Great War and in 1916-17 directed the attack of the London Territorial troops at Passchendale Ridge. He was 55 years old.
