PLUNET DANCE AT OAKURA

ENJOYABLE EVENING SPENT. A dance held at Oakura on Tuesday night in aid of the Plunket Society’s funds was considered to be one of the most enjoyable evenings ever held in the district. Large numbers from all over the countryside attended, and the dancing was enjoyed by everyone. The evening was as successful from the financial as from the social viewpoint, and as a result £8 will be handed to the New Plymouth Plunket committee. Visitors from New Plymouth who contributed to the programme were Airs. Jones, Miss Lawrence, Miss Richardson, Miss Irma Lee and Messrs. Ferry and Wright. Mr. Aldie lent all the crockery.
