The weekly crib tournaments are still being held by the hall commitee, and on Saturday Mr. Drozdowski secured the prize, while Mr. Moody won the points prize for the series. The winner of the previous week’s tournament was Mr. P* Carey. Mr. and Mrs. Anderson and taeir daughter Hilary have returned to New Plymouth. . They have been the guests of Mr. and. Mrs. H. Wells. Mrs. Drozdowski, senior, and her daughter are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Drozdowski. Mr. J. Dunich is in the New Plymouth hospital. He is suffering from acute appendicitis. Mr. Jack Shogren paid a hurried visit to his parents and to New Plymouth last week. Mr. and Mrs. Power have returned to New Plymouth after spending a holiday with Mr. and Mrs. P.. Carey. Miss Wells is nursing at New Plymouth.

• Mr. J. A. Henry, school inspector, visited the Pukearuhe school last week. Little Allan Weeden, who sustained injuries to his arm a short time ago, has returned .to his home and is progressing satisfactorily.
