UNSATISFACTORY EVIDENCE

By Telegraph.—Press Association. Invercargill, Last Night. Alfred Joseph Donovan, single, aged about 40, was found dead in an outhouse at his home in th© Waikiwi suburb this / evening. He was a witness at the inquest this afternoon into the circumstances surrounding the death ot Hector Aitken, labourer, aged 38, who was found drowned in the Waihopai River on October 21. The coroner this afternoon commented on th© unsatisfactory nature of some of the evidence given. He returned a verdict that Aitken was found drowned in the Waihopai River, there being no evidence to.show how he came to be in the river..
