GREYMOUTH OWNER’S ABSENCE.

Greymouth, Nov. 7. Fire last evening in Blackball destroyed an 11-foomfr'L house owned by Mrs. Gerraghty, who in v ’Mtmg Wellington attending a funeral. The house and contents were not insured. lae fire also destroyed Howarth’s drapery shop. The insurance on the stock was £5OO in the Mercantile and General Office.
