Sensations occurred at the rodeo carnival jubilee at the Ovfel yesterday in honour of the 75th birthday of the cattle king, Sir Sidnby Kidman. Forty-five thousand Were ptetent and hundreds were unable to gain admission. Scores of persons fainted ’before the show began. Many climbed on roofs and one man fell through a skylight 30 feet add fractured his skull. The police were pOWerlefes to control the surging crowd. Several fright-maddened buckjumpers from the cattle country plunged among the spectators. There were, over TOO minor casualties and 30' were, seriously hurt.
