PORT WHANGAREI FROM SYDNEY. Captain.A. F, Watclilin’s motor-ship, Port Whangarei,’ is scheduled to leave Sydney next Friday for Auckland and southern ports. The vessel was formerly the ,506-toij twin screw . steamer Marion Sleigh, which was built at Bremerhaven in' 1906. Since being bought by Captain Watchlin she has been converted into a motor-ship, her steam engines having, been replaced by twin Fairbanks Morse engines each of 260 h.p.
