In view of unemployment distress, the Duke and Duchess of York have refused the Lincoln Municipality’s invitation to a civic lunched., on the occasion of a visit to Lincoln on November 3. Their Royal Highnesses, However, will attend a thanksgiving service in connection with the restoration of Lincoln ■ Cathedral, a striking architectural feature,. 480 feet in length ai.< 80 feet wide, which crowns the hill above the town.
