. EUCHRE PARTY AND DANCE. The euchre party attracted a large crowd on Friday night. Visitors were present from surrounding districts and ten tables were occupied at euchre. Miss Evelyn Rogers won the ladies’ prize and Mr. T. Snell the men’s after a re-play with Mr. C, Weston. After supper dancing was resumed to music played by Mrs. Fabish. ■ ■■; The monthly meeting of the ladies’ guild was held last Thursday at Mrs. Parker’s residence. Those present were Mesdames Balsom, Kemp, Parker, May, Peters, Weston, Ekdahl, Plunner and Baker. At the fortnightly euchre party at Mangamahoe the prizes were won by Mrs. C. Wesley and Mr. Gordon Yeates, Albert Road Mrs. C. Baker is spending a holiday with her daughter, Mrs. H. Symons, Omata.
Mr. • Gordon Flay has returned home. Mr. S. Bridger is spending a holiday with Mr. J. Swan. Mr. G. Parker has returned from Taumarunui.
