IRISH MANUFACTURES BILL
GOVERNMENT DEFEAT IN SENATE
MEASURE MAY BE DELAYED.
By Telegrikph—Brews Asm.—Copyright. Rec. 7 p.m. ... Dublin, Aug. 11. The Senate eat specially to-day to consider the Dail’s rejection of ,the Senate’s amendments to the Control of Manufactures Bill. The Government was. defeated by 24 to 17 on the motion that the Senate does not insist on its amendments,, meaning that if the Dail disagrees the Bill will automatically be delayed for ,18 months.
