Helsingfors, August 9. The imminent completion by the Soviet of 140 miles of canal between the Baltic and White Seas is a cause of apprehension in Finland. The canal traverses Russian Karelia and the Gulf of Finland, connecting Leningrad with the whole of the Russian railway system.
