WESTOWN SCHOOL
A meeting of the Westown School Committee was held on Tuesday evening. Present: Messrs. Aylward (chairman), Darby (secretary), Deacon, Marsden, Potts, Poynter, Turnbull, Hedges (scoutmaster), and Brown (headmaster).
The scoutmaster reported good weekly parades. Authority was given the scoutmaster to purchase rope for the use of the scouts. Preparations are being made for a parents’ meeting towards the end of September. Preparations were reported to be well in hand for the annual ball next Saturday evening. * -
