WELLINGTON TEAM BEATEN
DANNEVIRKE WINS HOCKEY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Daunevirke, Last Night. The Wellington touring hockey team were defeated by Dannevirke to-day by two goals to one. It was a hard, evenly contested game, the forwards on both sides continuously breaking away. Both goalies did conspicuously good work. J. Smith scored for Dannevirke in the first spell and G. Robinson in the second. Wellington’s goal was scored by Worsfold just before time.
