TARURUTANGI WOMEN’S DIVISION

Favoured with a fine day and an excellent attendance of members find o-uests, the Tarurutangi Women’s Division held its monthly meeting in the hall on Wednesday afternoon. Several members brought pound parcels to give to the district nurse to distribute, xtecently the 'branch entertained Mrs. Jackson, Dominion president, at luncheon. * The junior members provided the entertainment for the afternoon.. Their programme was: Piano solo,. Miss M. Old; recitation, Miss E. Smith; part song; recitation, Miss E. Fabish; song, Miss I. Street; dialogue, Misses V. Longstaff, A. Peterson, M. Old, P. Old, E. Fabish, I. Street, E. Street, E. Smith. ' Competitions were won by Mrs. Kaine and Mrs. S. Sampson. For afternoon tea the tables were decorated by the younger members, who acted as hostesses.
