An opening wedge to a world economic conference along the lines proposed by Senator Borah was given the United States to-day in a formal invitation re-,, ceived by the State Department from the 'League of Nations to participate in a world financial parley. i OUTLINE OF THE AGENDA. WAR DEBTS NOT INCLUDED. Rec. 5.5 p.m. Washington, July 29. The invitation to the United States to attend the proposed monetary and economic conference has been received by the State Department' from the British Embassy. It provides that reparations, debts and tariffs are not to be discussed. The invitation says that amon<r the monetary matters to be discussed is the question of silver. No time or place for the conference is given. The State Department had already indicated that it would accept such an invitation.
