BUILDING AT NEW PLYMOUTH
LITTLE ACTIVITY THIS YEAR. SEVEN MONTHS’ MODEST TOTAL. Only small building works were carried out in New Plymouth in July, the value of. the permits issued being £l6ll 10s., as compared with £22,697 for July, 1931, when the figures included substantial additions to tho Taranaki Producers’ Freezing Works at Moturoa. The permits for this month included one business building, two dwellings and nine garages, sheds, etc., compared with one business building, three dwellings jand 12 garages, sheds and alterations. . For the seven months of the year the 1932 total is far behind that of 1931—
