INJURY IN LABORATORY
SCHOOLBOY’S EXPERIMENTING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, July 30. In conducting a chemical experiment on his own initiative in the laboratory of the Boys’ High School after school yesterday, David Cumberbeach, aged 14, received injuries to his right hand when th© mixture exploded. Th© boy is a member M th© camera club and was apparently mixing potassium chlorate with some oxidisable substance. H« was taken to hospital, but it is understood that he will suffer no permanent injury.
