PUNISHMENT FOR CRIMES
SENTENCES AT WELLINGTON. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, July 18. Prisoners sentenced by Mr. Justice Blair to-day were: Harold Arthur Ede, for falsifying accounts as a servant with, intent to defraud, 12 months’ probation; William Haiitapa Werth, for unlawful carnal knowledge, four years’ hard labour; Archibald Walter McColl, for theft, two years’ hard labour.
