POTATOES SLIGHTLY WEAKER.

Prompt and July delivery are quoted, at £6 a ton, August at *« 10s and August-September at £6 15s. ' The Waipiata left on Wednesday, taking from all ports slightly over 6000 Backs. The Port Waikato is due to leave to-morrow with about 3000 sacks, and the Waimarjno is to load at Timaru on Thursday' and Lyttelton on Wednesday. Th® Waipiata is due to load at Bluff on July 27 and later up the coast. She will be the last boat of the month, fhe prospects are that these' vessels wiu take ample supplies for the next fewweeks. . . • There is a little more inquiry fowl wheat, which is quoted at 4s eiu to 4s 9d f.o.b. sacks extra. Oats and chaff are meeting with a lifeksf ket. .
