NEARLY £450,000,000 INVOLVED,

The £446,000,000 Cash Bonus Bill for ex-soldiers has been voted upon adversely by the Senate Finance Committee. The immediate payment of the sum as demanded by 20,000 former servicemen bivouacked in Washington had been approved by the House of Representatives.
